It is overcast and warm.

Saw a lot of art mostly 14th and 15th century, very large tapestry, Micalangelo’s unfinished Piata.

The Basilica was simple and beautiful. There were carvings of animals along the sides of the columns.
Inside was a gold alert that had been removed during WWII to be safeguarded during the bombings.

The asp was a beautiful mosaic.

We walked back out to see the Duomo in different light. It was beautiful

Tried a different gelato plate Artico and had pistachio gelato and it was heaven.
Went to dinner at Pizza a fun pizza place with bright yellow table cloths and fun vibe and good pizza
Walked back to the duomo for one more shot.

Raining, bought a 5L umbrella from a man on the street.

Ate pizza under covered table outside while trying to stay dry.

Rain stopped and we went to three different stores to find a sim card but they were too expensive and not what we wanted,.

Walke to Church of San Maurizo and had to wait a few minutes before they would let us inside. The volunteers at the door were not going to take our US COVID cards but we convinced them they were real.
