Naples to Ischia

This morning host of the bib surpised me with a small Capri Cake (chocolate, almond sugar) and birthday candle. He sang Happy Birthday in Italian and English. The I grew out the candle and he said Italians break the candle in tow to make sure your wish comes true.

We then rode to the hyrdrofoil and road over to Ischia.

The boat ride was quick and nice. The sailor tied our bike to a pole with a rope.

Arrived at Ischia a bought some fruit from the fruit stand.

Rode to the resort we are staying at.

The resort it beautiful and quaint a bit like stepping back in time.

We have our own little suite with an ocean view. They gave us a private safe place to park the bikes.

We relaxed on the balcony and ate fruit and enjoyed the view.

We changed into swim suits and wore the big white fluffy robes and flip flops provided but the resort and woke to the thermal springs. We relaxed in hot thermal water safer hours. It was relaxing.

We came back to the room showered and waited of dinner.

Dinner was great. Then had huge buffet of salt and vegetables then served a first course and second course with dessert. My desert was huge bowl of fruit.

As we walked on the terrace to enjoy the view we heard music. The bar had a one man show with a bank of sythasisors playing music. He was fantastic and all of the Germans were dancing like crazy.  We joined in.
