Pula to Motovun

Eggs and toast for breakfast.

Got up early to atdh train.

Got train in Pula – an ancient diesel train. Small very old.

Rode train for about 1.5 hours.  Very hot inside so we opened windows then smelled the diesel.

Was like riding a Thomas the Tank engine Very slow train.

Goe off of the train and began riding to Motovun.

On road with some traffic for a while.

Climbed several hills.

Got off Roa to get on the Paranzana trail.

Paranzana trail was gravel and very rocky.

Met two Italian men on the trail.

They were delightful.

Very bumpy and rocky.

Then good road/path until we reached a washed out section.

Came to a very dark, long tunnel.

put on lights

some lights fame on in the tunny sporadically.

Tunnel also had gravel and rocky parts inside the tunnel.

Path led to field so we rode through grass and up a muddy trail/someone’s driveway.

Then climbed up a steep road up to the town of motovan.

Stopped in Pizan on the way to Motovun saw the biplane an castle. The zip line was closed for the season.

Found our apartment in Motovun. Walked around the town

Showered and went to dinner.

Walked around city wall

Watched the sunset ate wonderful dinner.

Walked around town.

Cookies and tea ready for bed.

For me, the bicycle is just as good a place as any to find happiness and get a glimpse of the world’s magic.Fatty, Fat Cyclist Blog
