Salerno to Pompei

Cereal and past for breakfast.

Rode out of Salerno

Lots of climbing at the beginning of the ride.

Rode through towns and on roads today.

Stopped at market for water.

Nie down an dup for second part of the day.

Really hot and humid

Checked into airbnb

Brought bikes up in the elevator to 5th floor, bike theft is a concern here.

Took front tire off of bike to fit in elevator.

Showers and changed.

Walked to Pompei

Bought tickets and walked around the ruins

Pompei is huge.

It was strange to see tall walls.

Grooves in Roman roads.

Beautiful floor mosaics

Painted walls, lots of red.

Bakery, Tavern, Brothal, fast food, amphitheater, 

Wandered around for quite a while.

Stopped by church on the way home. Newish church Beautifully pointed.

Got pizza to go headed home.

Long but good day.
