Umag to Rovinj

Epic day

Started in Umag stopped at grocery store an grabbed breakfast and water.

Nice tie out of the city

Bike race today for most of the  path we wanted to take.

Were told we would have to wait 40 minutes until we could use the road.

Ian navigated us through back roads and a farmers field.

Were riding with racing bikes on and off he day.

Part of the ride we had to go off of our planned path  and how to ride through mud puddles and big rock and gravel.

Was an adventure but it slowed us down 

Climbed a couple of very steep hills.

As we are into Porec we saw the end of the race.

Stopped at the Euphrasian Basicllica. I went inside, Ian watched the bikes. The mosaics were stunning.

Grabbbed more water outside of Porec.

Rode down a hill and then had to ride up an epic hill. Narrow road, very teep I walked some of it as my quad would not go any further.

the cars were good at staying away from the bike.

The top was glorious to see.

Rode down hill into Roing with a little hill slightly as we came into town.

Met the owner of the place we are staying in the main square.
