Vincenza to Padua

Great breakfast a Mum’s this morning fresh tomatoes from her garden.

Short ride but beautiful.

Water along most of the paths.

Church bells ringing in the village.

Wine tasting everwhere

Paths good but a lot of gravel paths.

Came into Padua during a Marathon.

Loga of people

Pulled into our hotel just as it started raining.

Bikes are stored downstairs in an empty room.

Cold and raining so we grabbed some Soba.

Then walked to the church.

The church is across the street from our hotel room with stunning views of the church.

The building has a series of domes along the main spine of the building giving it a very distinct shape.

Inside the series of soaring domes is very beautiful.

We walked by the front of ST Andrews and wondered why they wanted us to sanitized our hand before entering until we saw everyone touching the tomb.

It was nice to see an actual priest blessing and counciling with people.

Then we went into the releque room and saw his tongue, vocal cords.

it was a little creepy but some people like to juggle geese.

They were handing out crds of cloth that had touched the tongue.

No pictures were allowed int eh church they even had a virtual block on phones.

Ian wants to go back tomorrow and pick up one of the cards of fabric to hang on the Christmas tree.

We came back to the room and relaxed.

Your bike is discovery; your bike is freedom. It doesn’t matter where you are, when you’re on the saddle, you’re taken away.Doug Donaldson
